Depression and anxiety is so prevalent today. Life is full of stress, and our time for ourselves can be very limited with all our daily demands. But let’s take a look at this in a different way.
Your job can be an expression of who you are, but your job is not who you are.
Your car is not who you are, it’s a vehicle to get you from point A to point B. You purchased it with many factors in mind. Your car is an expression of what you chose at the time of purchase for whatever reasons. You may enjoy what you drive or you may not.
Your looks are not who you are, not even your body, is who you really are. It also may have changed from what you looked like last year, or what it looked like years ago. So that’s definitely not who you are.
The mistakes you have made in your life (and we have all made mistakes) are not who you are. Those situations are just your experiences for growth to know your own truth as you journey through your life path. These happenings bring stress, but they are meant to give you wisdom.
But your Spirit within you never changes. It’s constantly there waiting for you to get in touch with it and express it in your life which reduces depression and anxiety. The Spirit is that part of the Divine that you really are.
A great way to minimize, reduce or diminish depression and anxiety is to calm the mind and body through meditation. I believe we should live each day going through a living, working, meditation through all our activities. It’s not necessary to sit and meditate for long periods of time each day to get results. In the western world we don’t even have the time for these activities. But once you get in touch with your Spirit through a simple meditation process you can learn to focus in your life with more clarity and purpose through your daily activities. Then your Spirit moves with you through your life guiding and giving you answers and direction to achieve your goals.
Yes, this realization is so BIG, VAST, and ENDLESS..., yet you have been housing your Spirit all your life. It is worthy of you to give your Spirit its special recognition and attention. In doing so it will reward you in countless ways with blessings. Many times it will give you the wisdom to lessen, eliminate your depression and anxiety. And that’s worth $millions$ in you life.
Spirit is a gift to you from the Divine that keeps on giving. We all want acknowledgement to some degree, likewise it is wise of you to hang out and spend some time with your Spirit…that wise teacher within that can alleviate depression and anxiety from your life.
You are on a journey, just trying things out, seeing what fits for you, what you like. Noticing what you don’t like, and what doesn’t fit for your self expression… because you can, because we all change, because things in life are temporary, and because it’s all on the way to your growth, so you can flourish to your betterment.
Your experiences occur to elevate you. There is meaning from what you have been going through. When understood these experiences help you evolve and makes you more consciously aware. It’s immensely valuable to not have to repeat the same situations over again. Repeating negative behaviors makes you feel like you are at the beginning starting all over again. It does not have to be that way. Wisdom can be received from your experiences.
So RELAX on your journey…the calmer you are, the calmer you become…synchronicity starts to happen… and you will just keep getting better and more empowered. And the by product is… the elimination of your depression and anxiety. It’s worked for many others. It can work for you too. You may have heard the expression, “The Sky Is The Limit” meaning there are no limits… that’s just like the real you and what you can do.
Get out of your own way. Allow your mind to get out of your way, and really enjoy this richness and reap your benefits. It’s a settling, nurturing feeling to be in touch with your Spirit.
